He highlighted three issues:

  1. Nurturing a sapling is very similar to nurturing a child. Encouraged children to adopt a sapling and see it grow into a tree @ home/school right from providing enriched soil, to ensuring adequate water and sunlight to weeding pruning, pest control, seeing a sapling into tree-hood requires considerable effort and ongoing attention. Similarly parents and teachers must nurture children with love affection & good values must be inculcated by spending quality time with them…
  2. Emphasised the importance of ‘I believe’ concept. ‘It’s what you choose to believe that makes you the person you are’ & reiterated the fact that ‘The height of your success depends on the depth of your belief’…
  3. Finally shared a quote on what Success means to me…‘To laugh often and much
To win the respect of intelligent people and affection of children
To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends
    To appreciate beauty
To leave the world a little better
To know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived
    This is to have succeeded…’
